Esophageal Motility Testing
Esophageal motility testing, or esophageal manometry, measures the pressures and the pattern of muscle contractions in your esophagus. Any abnormalities in the contractions of strength of the muscle can cause problems including pain, heartburn, and difficulty swallowing.

Esophageal motility studies are performed at Lehigh Valley Health Network – Cedar Crest and interpreted by the physicians at EPGI.

Hydrogen Breath Tests
Hydrogen breath tests are used to diagnose problems with the digestion of lactose and fructose, and bacterial overgrowth of the small bowel.

EPGI offers hydrogen breath tests (lactose, fructose, and lactulose) at the Allentown Office.
