LPN Endoscopy Technician

This non-exempt position will be responsible for working as a procedure room assistant, set-up and breakdown of procedure room, reprocessing endoscopes, cleaning of instrumentation, and assisting the Registered Nurse as needed in the admitting and pre/post op area. This position is primarily located in the Allentown office with a secondary location in Easton as coverage is needed.

Education:

• Licensed to practice as an LPN in the state of Pennsylvania and current CPR/BLS certification
• Minimum of one year of endoscopy, critical care or PACU experience required with a working knowledge of Medical terminology and Infection Control guidelines

Experience:

• One to two years of experience in a GI technician role with a working knowledge of Medical terminology and Infection Control guidelines
• Previous experience maintaining equipment and ordering supplies
